Guildford is located approximately 45 km (30 miles) south-west of central London in Southern England.
It is conveniently located for both Heathrow and Gatwick airports and for the UK's motorway network, which provides a road link through the Channel Tunnel to continental Europe.
Guildford is connected to London by a fast, frequent train service (approximately 40 min journey time with trains every 15 min during the day).

Rail-air link coaches leave Terminal 2 for Woking railway station from
6.30am to 10.50pm, picking up from Terminals 3, 1 and 4. Between 6.35am
and 8.30pm they run approximately every half an hour, otherwise it is an
hourly service. Journey time to Woking is one hour. There are frequent
trains from Woking to Guildford.
To purchase a ticket, use the electronic ticket machines in the terminal.
Here, simply select Guildford as your destination. You can pay buy cash or credit card.
The same can be done at Guildford station for the return journey. The coach stops directly
outside Woking station, and so the train/coach transfer is very easy,
and the same ticket is valid for both. It costs GBP 12.90 each way.
The Railair coach service leaves Heathrow airport from different locations depending on the terminal:
Terminals 1 & 3
Our coach services arrive and depart from the Central Bus Station
which is only a 5 minute walk from the terminal buildings via the lift,
escalators and travelators.
Terminal 4
Our coach services use stops 13 and 14 right outside the terminal
building at arrivals level. Free transfers to the Central Bus Station &
Terminal 5 can be made at stop 7 outside arrivals.

via London Airport (Gatwick)
Gatwick station is positioned in the South Terminal of the airport and
provides direct rail-air link trains to Guildford hourly between
approximately 5.15am (6am on Sundays) and 11pm.
From Gatwick there are two possibilities for trains.
It is possible to get a train to Guildford with no changes - this is
cheaper (GBP 9.40 or 10.80 during rush-hour) and faster (43 minutes).
This service is roughly once an hour.
The second possibility requires you to change train in Clapham Junction,
costs GBP 12.90, and takes 1 hour and 17 minutes.
These both take you directly to Guildford station.
Gatwick railway station is directly linked to the South Terminal and is
only a few minutes away from the North Terminal via a free transit train
which runs every 3 minutes at peak times.
